Work alongside HR scholars and executives and help address real-world business problems
About the HR Edge Network
The HR Edge Network is a collaborative partnership between executives and faculty who jointly solve real-world business problems through cutting-edge research, sharing of best practices, and networking with fellow leaders in the HR field.
This network allows for sharing of expertise and latest thinking in strategic HR areas such as organizational culture, teams, leadership, diversity and inclusion, employee health and wellness, conflict and negotiation, and talent management practices.
The HR Edge Network consists of two annual meetings to discuss current challenges and create solutions that have real-world and strategically important impacts on organizations.
What our members have to say
“The HR Edge Network offers a unique opportunity to network with HR professionals, students and faculty all as subject matter experts. It serves as a key resource for best in class and just in time HR knowledge that can be applied within my organization. It also offers me the opportunity to bring my knowledge and information to the network and make a contribution.”
- Anjanette Mosebar, Vice President, Human Resources - UC Health
“It is such a generative experience to be with remarkable emerging leaders in our field. The students make me think differently by the questions they ask and the thoughts they share. We have hired CSU students as interns, and the City participated in the first Capstone project in the spring of 2021. Among the many gifts from that experience were the creativity, curiosity, and how the different student teams saw things we had not. Being with the students, simply put, makes us better.”
- Teresa Roche, Chief Human Resources Officer - City of Fort Collins
“HR Edge Network brings together top academicians with top HR leaders from businesses, and the result is incredibly rich and balanced interaction on topics that are both current and future-looking. I’ve found the discussions to be thought-provoking and enriching to the issues I’m facing in my role.”
- Paul Benson, Corporate Vice President, Human Resources - Woodward
“The members of the HR Edge Network are top HR professionals residing in the front range. We come from diverse company backgrounds including hi-tech; engineering; manufacturing; hospitals and city government. The executive members are smart, thoughtful and fun. We share a vision of the importance of giving to the next generation of HR professionals and the importance of science and research to enhance our personal impact. We are part of a learning community. We work intensely at our biannual meetings and intersperse our stimulating conversations with good food and drinks. The members genuinely care about each other, and I have found each to be quick to return a phone call with information or advice. In summary, one of the finest gatherings of CHROs I have ever known.”
