Eligible Semester at Sea Programs

Online MBA

Elevate your existing skills with the business foundations and concepts you’ll learn in our Online MBA. You’ll engage with core business concepts in areas like leadership, human resources, accounting, finance and more. Our program can be completed on a flexible schedule, meaning you can earn your degree in as little as 21 months, or take up to five years to finish your MBA.

Online MBA – Mosaic

Interested in learning remotely, but want that on-campus feeling? Our Mosaic Online MBA offers you the best of both worlds. Using video collaboration technology, you’ll learn alongside on-campus students twice a week, all from the comfort of your home. Mosaic lets you participate in live video lectures, interact with others during group work and collaborate with your remote peers. This program is completed in two years.

Online Business Management Certificate

Whether you’re on the management path or ready to own your own business, the Online Graduate Certificate in Business Management will help you develop foundations in strategy and planning, effective leadership and corporate decision making. This 12-credit certificate is completed online and the credits can be applied to our MBA program.

Applied Finance Certificate

Our Applied Finance Certificate introduces you to analytic business skills and industry-specific knowledge that can be used to advance your career. This certificate is taught by our finance faculty and presents concepts and ideas in areas like corporate and international finance, financial institutions, and credit markets. All 11 of the credits in this certificate can be applied to our MBA program.

The tuition discount can only be applied to the online certificate.

Marketing Management Certificate

Take your marketing career further and gain expertise. The Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management teaches you essential concepts like strategy and planning, sales management, consumer behavior, service marketing, and market research. This certificate is 9-credits and can be applied to our MBA program.

The tuition discount can only be applied to the online certificate.

Semester at Sea helps create global citizens by encouraging students to explore different perspectives and develop new ways to apply the lessons you’ve learned. The CSU College of Business prioritizes those same values and our programs emphasize real-world applications for our coursework. This shared focus on experiential learning makes Semester at Sea and the College of Business natural academic partners.

Supporting educational opportunities for others

Both institutions also believe in making their programming more accessible. Beyond just the tuition benefit, by enrolling in a College of Business program, Semester at Sea alumni are helping others enjoy the same study abroad opportunities they got to experience. 5% of net tuition from Semester at Sea alum will be used in a scholarship to aid College of Business students in participating in study abroad programs. In addition, our program is providing another 5% of net tuition back to Semester at Sea so that they can create a new scholarship that will enhance their diversification efforts and provide more opportunities for students interested in attending Semester at Sea.
