Real estate is what we love. Building connections between real estate students and our community is what we do.
We believe real estate has the power to inspire change and solve complex challenges in Colorado and around the globe. Through our undergraduate programs, research, and service to our communities, we make the world a better place. The Everitt Real Estate Center is dedicated to bringing the College of Business real estate programs together with the Northern Colorado real estate industry, ultimately benefiting students, faculty, professionals, our community, the state of Colorado, and beyond.
We coordinate opportunities for students and faculty to meet, learn from, and even work with local real estate professionals. In exchange, real estate professionals turn to us for new business solutions from our knowledgeable faculty, as well as new ideas and talent from our emerging professionals.
A part of the College of Business Department of Finance and Real Estate, the Everitt Real Estate Center is a nonprofit organization guided by an advisory board. The center got its start in 2000 with a grant from the Mortgage Bankers Association. In 2004 alumni and local real estate developers Eric Holsapple and Don Marostica donated $1.5 million to establish an endowed chair in the college's real estate program, which promoted the center's mission to bridge the gap between academics and industry. The center became even stronger – and got its name – when Bob and Joyce Everitt pledged $2.4 million in 2005 to support its efforts.
Today, we remain thankful for the generosity and vision of those who built the Everitt Real Estate Center, and for those who still support us – by donating, attending our events, or volunteering their time and expertise.
