Intro Text

The College of Business provides undergraduate business students with the opportunity to learn about and participate in the business research process. Students have the opportunity to step outside the classroom and find mentorship, community and a deeper understanding of their academic concertation or interest.

In addition to complotting nine hours of research support alongside faculty members each week, students participate in a 1-hour per week seminar with the other fellows. These seminars are designed to provide students with support as well as a comfortable setting to learn about business research, the research process, and pathways for pursuing an academic career.

The research fellowships last for one academic year and compensate the Fellow for the hours worked. At approximately $14.50/hour, students are allotted 10 hours per week. All Fellows are encouraged to present their project at the Multicultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership Symposium (MURALS) or the Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC) Showcase in spring of each year.
