Lynn M. Shore is a Partners for Excellence Professor at Colorado State University (PhD Colorado State University). Previously, she was on the faculty at San Diego State University, University of California, Irvine, and Georgia State University. Her primary research areas are on the employment relationship and work force diversity, inclusion, and exclusion. In the area of employment relationships, she has researched such topics as perceived organizational support, psychological contracts, leader-member exchange, and international aspects of employment relationships. Dr. Shore’s work on diversity has examined the impact that composition of the work group and employee/supervisor dyads has on the attitudes and performance of work groups and individual employees. Her research on inclusion focuses on making work places more inclusive by creating inclusive climates, and helping leaders become more inclusive. Dr. Shore also studies exclusion, as she seeks ways to help organizations prevent social exclusion and enhance inclusion. She is the Executive Director of the HR Edge Network at CSU. Her work has appeared in elite scholarly journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Professor Shore’s research is highly cited (over 40,000 citations in Google Scholar). Professor Shore served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology (2003-2008) and was a special issue editor for Management and Organization Review (2009) and Journal of Organizational Behavior (2003). She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
