With over 30 years of experience in the financial services and automotive industry, Horst Meima has held numerous leadership positions for one of the largest car companies in the world. Over the span of his career, Horst successfully led three separate subsidiaries in North America with ultimate responsibility for a $35.0 billion loan portfolio as president and chief executive officer. He has served on the board of directors for Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., VW Credit, Inc., VW Credit Canada, Inc., and Volkswagen Bank USA. Horst is presently the president and founder of MFS Advisory Group LLC which provides executive leadership guidance in the mobility and financial services sector.
Meima previously served on the board of directors for the American Financial Services Association as well as the board of directors for Junior Achievement for the Greater Washington DC area. He presently serves on the Global Leadership Council for Colorado State University supporting the College of Business.
Horst Meima is a Colorado State University alumnus, having earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also holds an MBA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.
