Congratulations to our Spring 2018 graduates!
Webcast: Livestreaming webcasts of the college ceremonies will be available.

Inclement weather: In the event of inclement weather, please call (970) 491-SNOW (7669) for updates on the university’s operating status and news of any closures or cancellations.

Those with limited mobility should sit in the first two rows of the concourse level. Sign language interpreters will be present; those needing sign interpretation should sit on the south concourse in Section P.
Parking: Moby Arena is on the northwest side of the main campus. The Moby parking lot, off Shields and Plum streets, will be open. Parking is not allowed in the specific permit spaces in front of the “Fum” McGraw Building, nor in handicapped or loading zones. Additional information regarding parking can be obtained from CSU Parking Services.
Photographs: Photos will be taken of each graduate with the diploma cover. Since another ceremony quickly follows, guests will not be allowed on the floor of Moby Arena during or after the ceremony. Following commencement, photographers will be circulating around the commencement venue to capture additional candid photographs of our graduates with their loved ones. The official commencement photographer, GradImages, provides proofs and images to those who preregister or register on their website.
Lodging and restaurant info: Please see the Visit Fort Collins website for more information on guest accommodations and restaurant reservations while visiting Fort Collins.
Cap and gown orders: Order your cap, gown, and tassel (regalia) in advance online at www.commencement.colostate.edu and click Get Your Cap and Gown. (Use the CSU Alumni Association app for specific dates.) You will rent your gown but purchase the cap and tassel to keep. Additional souvenier tassles may be purchased.
If you anticipate graduating as an undergraduate with academic distinction (summa cum laude, magna cum laude or cum laude), or from the University Honors Program place a regular regalia order. Once the academic distinction and/or Honors distinction is confirmed by the Registrar’s Office, you will receive an email. Present a copy of that email to the regalia vendor to pick up the gold or green gown.
If you miss the online ordering deadline, you may still rent regalia one hour prior to the ceremony in the Intramural Gym.
Cap & gown how-to wear: Tassels are worn on the left side; your mortarboard cap should be worn level and not decorated. Honor society cords may be worn.
Alumni Association: You have the opportunity to join the CSU Alumni Association at a reduced rate in addition to renting the cap and gown. Membership in the Alumni Association, however, is not required to rent the cap and gown.
Undergraduate career survey: Watch for an email and give us your feedback on your post-graduation plans. Completing the survey prior to the day of commencement saves you time.
Day of ceremony: On May 12, plan to arrive in the Intramural Gym (east end of the Moby complex) no later than 6 p.m. Visit: www.commencement.colostate.edu for the complete commencement schedule. Once inside the Intramural Gym, pick up your name card and join the other graduates in your program of study. All graduates will be individually recognized as they cross the stage.
Inclement weather: In the event of inclement weather, please call (970) 491-SNOW (7669) for updates on the University’s operating status and news of any closures or cancellations.
Wheelchair/limited mobility and sign language: Graduates who personally need wheelchair seating or sign language interpretation should contact Mike Jaramillo at (970) 491-4650.
Photographs: Photos will be taken of each graduate with the diploma cover. GradImages, the official commencement photographer, will email proofs to view online as soon as 48 hours after the ceremony IF a permanent email address is included on your name card. You also may preregister for your images to ensure your contact information is up to date. There's not an obligation to order, and you'll save 20 percent off orders of $50 or more for your pre-registration.
Since another ceremony quickly follows, guests will not be allowed on the floor of Moby Arena during or after the ceremony. However, following commencement, GradImages photographers will be circulating around the commencement venue to capture additional candid photographs of our graduates with their loved ones. The GradImages staff will be wearing red vests, so they’ll be highly visible and easy to locate.
