ABOUT

Harry is a Professor in the Department of Finance & Real Estate at Colorado State University. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Master’s in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and doctorate from the University of Alberta. Previously, Harry was the Department Chair and Omer L. Carey Chair of Financial Education at Washington State University. He was also Professor and Fred T. Tattersall Distinguished Chair of Finance at West Virginia University.

Harry enjoys teaching and research in investment theory, portfolio management, international finance, and capital markets.

Harry’s research has been published or is forthcoming in the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, Financial Management, the Financial Review, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Empirical Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial Research, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Portfolio Management, and Management Science. He examines a variety of topics in the areas of portfolio management, investment theory, and international finance.

Harry enjoys his role as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Research, and serving on the Advisory Board for the American Journal of Business, as well as the Editorial Board for Investment Management and Financial Innovations. Harry was formerly an Associate Editor for the Finance Division of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences.
