Share your experience as you engage with tomorrow’s business leaders

Do you want to share your insights with a budding professional and receive their nuanced outlook on the world? Are you inspired to give back? Do you want to build real relationships and expand your network? You may be an ideal candidate to become a mentor in one of the College of Business’ mentorship programs.

Peer-to-Peer Mentors

Becoming a Biz Ram is hard, and peer mentors help first-year students adapt to life on campus. If you’re a junior or senior with at least a 3.0 GPA and are involved in campus life with the drive to share tips about academic success, college social life and any other of your peers’ concerns, consider joining the program.

Professional Mentors

Mentors strengthen interpersonal skills, support student transitions between academic and professional careers and share their expertise with students in this College of Business mentorship program. Using Chronus, a software platform that matches professionals with a student based on your experience and shared interests, mentors develop relationships with students that last anywhere from 60 minutes to a year – or more.

Mentor an Undergraduate

Mentors in the COB Professional Mentoring Program must have at least five years of professional experience and the ability to meet in-person or virtually twice per term for a year. Mentors are expected to provide honest feedback and advice to students.

Become a Flash Mentor

Professionals who are unsure if they have the time to honor a long-term commitment or those wishing to test out a mentorship role often participate in the Flash Mentoring Program. Mentors agree to consider matches with students for a one-time mentorship session of up to 60 minutes.
