Ryan Brown is the VP of People and Culture for Canvas Credit Union. Reporting to the CEO, he leads learning & organizational development, performance management, total compensation, recruitment and risk management. He began his career in the staffing industry as a technology recruiter. After spending five years at KFORCE, he transitioned into human resources in 2013 to support the Denver-based healthcare technology company, Recondo Technology (now Waystar). Ryan joined Canvas in 2016 and has helped lead the Canvas pillar of “being known for our people” during a period of high-growth. Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He’s currently attending a leadership program at Pomona College, Western CUNA Management School. He’s married to Andrea, a high school guidance counselor, and is a father to three kids.
