Paul Benson is the Corporate VP of HR for Woodward, Inc., accountable for the people agenda for Woodward’s 9500-member global workforce. Before joining Woodward, Paul was the Executive Vice President and CHRO for another public aerospace company, Esterline Technologies, headquartered in Bellevue, WA. In that role Paul led a 175 person global HR team and served as a critical business partner to the CEO and C-suite from 2014 through 2019. Prior to the aerospace industry, Paul worked in progressively senior HR leadership roles in the high tech industry for Hewlett Packard and Intel, from 1995 to 2014. Paul has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, talent leadership, total rewards, strategic planning and complex global project management. Paul received his MBA from Arizona State University, and his BA from St. Martin’s University in Washington.
