As President and CEO of one of Colorado’s premier real estate investment firms, Chris is responsible for driving the company’s investments, strategic planning and overall operations. With over 35 years in the commercial real estate business, he has successfully acquired, developed, and disposed of over $2.5 billion of real estate investments.
One of Chris’s strengths is in finding and creating value in under-managed and ill-conceived office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use projects. Along with his experienced team, he has created investment opportunities utilizing both traditional acquisitions and forward-thinking financial structuring. Some of his most successful projects have been a result of working closely with various state and local municipalities, urban renewal authorities, metropolitan districts and complex entitlement processes to turn ill-conceived and dormant properties into product and vibrant community assets.
After graduating in 1982 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a focus on finance and economics, he worked for a Denver office developer, moving to the Washington DC area to initiate and run an industrial development platform. From there he returned to Denver to work with a national bank in loan workouts before coming to DPC almost 30 years ago.
