The Career Management Center is available for in-person and virtual appointments with business degree-seeking students at the undergraduate and graduate student level as well as degree-conferring alumni of the College of Business.

NOTE: Business Minors and Certificate-only students can receive career support through the CSU Career Center.

Online Scheduling in Handshake 

Schedule a Career Counseling Appointment in Handshake by clicking Online Scheduling. Current students: login with your NetID, then select the Category College of Business (Career Management Center). Follow the prompts to choose a preferred appointment medium, appointment topic, and date/time.

Mock Interviews can also be scheduled using this process.

Open Drop-In Hours

Do you have a shorter question that will only take a few minutes to answer? Open Drop-In Hours are available for business students to meet for 10-15 minutes with a College of Business Career Counselor. Drop-Ins are available during Fall and Spring Semesters in the Career Management Center, Rockwell West, Room 210.

Drop-In Meetings can be helpful as a starting point for exploration and career discussions, access to Handshake and other career resources, resume and cover letter reviews, internship and micro-internship information, and tips to start a job search.

The schedule for Open Drop-In Hours is the same throughout Fall and Spring Semesters.

  • Mondays - 10:00am 2:00pm
  • Tuesdays - 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Wednesdays - 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Thursdays - 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Fridays - No Drop-Ins (appointments only, as available)

Mock Interview Scheduling 

Mock Interviews are 50-minute practice sessions that help students prepare and develop confidence for interviewing. The session includes a recorded interview along with video playback and feedback from the interviewer.

Current College of Business students: schedule a mock interview in Handshake. Login with your NetID, then select:

At scheduling, you will be prompted to send a sample job or internship description and a resume to the Career Management Center.
