Bio

Zeinab Rezaie serves as the Climate Accelerator Program Manager for the Institute for Entrepreneurship in the College of Business at Colorado State University. She will be responsible for the co-creation of the new Climate Accelerator Program. Previously, Zeinab served as a Program Manager for a Charity Organization, Free to Run, to empower women through adventure sports in Afghanistan. She earned Fulbright Scholarship, Zeinab completed her master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship track of the Impact MBA program from the College of Business at Colorado State University in December 2022.  

Zeinab has experienced social injustice and the negative impacts of climate change in her home country. Therefore, she is very passionate about both social and environmental sustainability. The fun fact about her is that she made history as the first Afghan woman to complete an Ironman 70.3 triathlon race in Dubai in February 2022 right before the pandemic, and she crossed the finish line of the Ironman 70.3 World Championship later in October 2022 with the Support of She Can Tri.
