Impact MBA alum named among 100 most influential people in health
Scott LoMurray was named to Time magazine’s 2025 list of the 100 most influential people in health in recognition of his work to further a groundbreaking model for teen suicide prevention.
LoMurray is CEO of Sources of Strength, an organization whose business plan he honed and scaled while pursuing his MBA at the College of Business.
The Time100 Health list is broken down into five categories — titans, innovators, pioneers, leaders and catalysts — with LoMurray dubbed a catalyst for "helping teens thrive."
Three College of Business alumni receive CSU's Distinguished Alumni Awards
Each year, CSU celebrates a group of alumni who have not only earned professional accolades but made significant contributions to the University and their communities. Three alumni of the College of Business — Maya Seigel, Kevin Keefe and Lisa Hackard — received awards in the 2025 cycle.
Siegel (’22) earned the Distinguished Graduate of the Last Decade Award, Keefe (’81) received the Jim and Nadine Henry Award, and Lisa Hackard (’97) was named this year's College of Business Honor Alumna. Congrats to our outstanding alumni!
Online MBA breaks into Top 25 in North America, Top 15 for U.S. publics
The College's Online MBA has been named No. 25 in North America by QS Quacquarelli Symonds and achieved the No. 14 spot among public institutions in the United States. Distinct from other competitive rankings, QS emphasizes employers’ sentiment on alumni preparedness, using feedback from more than 36,000 professionals worldwide.
College's sustainability commitment earns it 'transforming' rating
For the fourth consecutive year, the College was named a “transforming” institution by the Positive Impact Rating, an annual international report that recognizes schools’ societal impact and commitment to sustainability. The rating places the College at Level 4 out of five possible levels — one of only seven U.S. schools to achieve that status.
