Celebrating the College of Business’ first-generation community

Commemorate your achievements, milestones and contributions as a first-generation business student at the 12th Annual Building Bridges Dinner! The event brings students, staff and faculty together for an evening of celebration and networking. Guest speakers include Dean Beth Walker and members from the First Generation Business Association. The evening also features a keynote address from Jose Sanchez, a sales consultant for Enterprise Mobility’s car sales division.  

What does it mean to be “first-generation?” 

First-generation students are students whose parents or guardians have not completed a bachelor’s degree. At the College of Business, we’re proud to support, honor and celebrate our first-gen students.  

This is a free event, but space is limited. RSVP by Feb. 12 to reserve your spot and select your meal preferences.
