Completing an education is one part of job readiness. The CSU College of Business provides an outstanding academic foundation for our business students. But what can be missing in the educational environment is knowledge and awareness of business etiquette or the behaviors that may be expected in business environments and/or when entering the workplace.
Join us for a 5-course meal to learn the historical roots of dining etiquette, how those expectations translate to the business world, and strategies for negotiating these expectations with a desire to show up authentically. Build confidence in carrying a conversation during a business meal while you learn the proper way to pass the butter and politely excuse yourself to remove spinach from your teeth.
You’ll have an opportunity to practice with our employer partners and reflect on how this knowledge can apply to other settings. Our program facilitator is Emily Ambrose, CSU's Assistant Director of Training & Development. Many of our corporate partners will also be in attendance to help students practice these skills.
