Information Assurance and Cyber Security Preparedness: Learn how to effectively implement strategies to prevent and respond to cyber threats

Learn from business professionals and public agency leaders about the importance of cybersecurity and protecting your organization from potential online threats at the second annual Cybersecurity Form. Hosted by the College of Business’ Computer Information Systems Department and the CSU Cybersecurity Center, the free event provides individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully respond to cyber attacks.

NIST Framework Core

The forum platform is based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology framework, which provides a common language for understanding, managing and expressing cybersecurity risk. At the highest level, the Framework Core consists of five functions - Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover. This forum focuses on the Identify and Protect functions.
