What is Startup Weekend?
Hosted by the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Fort Collins Startup Weekend: Music, Food & Beverage is a three-day event for aspiring entrepreneurs interested in learning how to rapidly develop and launch their own business and product ideas. Parrticipants are encouraged to develop business ideas related to music, food, and/or beverage innovation. But don’t worry, if your idea does not relate to the theme. Pitching any and all ideas are welcome!
Who can participate?
You! And other like-minded people that are excited by entrepreneurship, problem solving, new solutions, and/or innovation across different industries, experiences, and businesses. Your idea should be something you have not previously worked on. (This means you haven't already tried selling the product, raising money, etc.)
How do I register?
Purchase your ticket, which includes 7 meals over the course of weekend, at the Fort Collins Startup Weekend: Music, Food & Beverage Eventbrite page. Tickets are $10 for CSU students and $25 for community members.

What is the schedule?
Attendees will pitch their ideas after arriving on Friday night, followed by voting to determine which concepts move forward and the teams that will be working on them over the weekend.
If your idea doesn’t get picked, don't worry! You'll get to vote for another idea and work in that team. Whether it's your idea or someone else's; the process of the weekend is the same!
The workshop wraps up on Sunday night with final group pitches, juding and awards. Group pitches can be attended by those who are not taking part in the full weekend event and are free and open to public. What does my ticket include?
Fort Collins Startup Weekend is a full weekend-long experience. Your ticket includes:

Where does Startup Weekend take place?
Fort Collins Startup Weekend: Music, Food & Beverage will be held at the Nancy Richardson Design Center, near CSU's Canvas Stadium.
