Nick Lobejko

Nick Lobejko

Executive Director of Advancement, Development and Alumni Relations


Nick Lobejko leads the College of Business Advancement team as the Executive Director of Development and is a member of Dean Beth Walker’s Executive Leadership Team. Prior to becoming Executive Director of Development, he served as Executive Director of Development for the College of Agricultural Sciences, which raised over $130 million in Colorado State University’s State Your Purpose campaign. As head of the College’s Advancement team, he oversees fundraising, engagement, and corporate and external relations.

Nick is a Minnesota native where he received a bachelor’s degrees in marketing and business education from Winona State University. He fell in love with Colorado, where he received a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. Nick and his wife Jillian own Sole Mates, a soft goods retail store in Old Town Fort Collins. Nick enjoys spending time with his son Logan, running and trying to stay upright on his mountain bike at Lory State Park.


Emily Schwartz

Emily Schwartz

Associate Director, Development and Alumni Relations


Emily Schwartz serves as the Associate Director of Development for the College of Business, bringing with her extensive knowledge and experience from her career in the non-profit and hospitality industries. Prior to joining the Ram family, Emily served as a member of the Development team at the Food Bank for Larimer County, where she focused on fundraising -- planning and executing the Food Bank’s three signature fundraisers and growing the organization’s corporate partnerships. Emily has previous experience in hospitality sales as a highly successful Sales Manager for a beautiful full-service hotel property in downtown Missoula, Montana.

A proud Montana native, Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Montana, with a focus on organizational communication and non-profit administration. Since moving to Fort Collins several years ago, Emily and her husband Michael have fallen in love with the area and especially enjoy Northern Colorado’s abundant brewery and foodie scenes. In her spare time, Emily enjoys running and hiking, as well as traveling – ideally to catch a concert or sports game.


Brooks Jordan Phillips

Brooks Jordan Phillips

Assistant Director of Development, Development and Alumni Relations


Brooks Phillips serves as the Assistant Director of Development for the College of Business, bringing extensive knowledge and experience in Alumni Relations, Sports Marketing & Major Event Management. Prior to joining the College of Business, Brooks worked as the Guest Relations Manager for Colorado State University Events for two years and Harlem Ambassadors Basketball for five years as the Director of Sales & Marketing.

A proud Montana native, Brooks holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Montana State University and a master’s degree from the University of Washington-Seattle, all while serving in the Montana Air National Guard as a Staff Sergeant. Brooks enjoys skiing, rafting and hiking. When Brooks isn’t working you’ll likely find him cheering on the Rams or in the great outdoors.


Stephanie Staudacher

Donor Relations Coordinator, Development and Alumni Relations


Stephanie joined the College of Business Development team as their Donor Relations Coordinator in early 2019 where she supports three major gift fundraising officers. Prior to joining the Development Office, she served as the Assistant Manager for Executive Programming and for the inaugural year of the Global Business Academy in 2018 in the College of Business. Before coming to Colorado State University, she worked at Aims and Front Range Community College in business outreach, internship placement, and corporate training roles. She also taught for seven years in Poudre School District. Her background also includes a nine-year career in pharmaceutical sales managing territories in downtown Chicago, Northern Colorado, and Southern Wyoming.

Having grown up in Colorado since she was 8 years old, enjoying the outdoors on Colorado’s ski slopes and running/hiking trails have been a large part of hers and her family’s free time. She and her husband, Dave, enjoy spending time traveling and visiting their four young-adult children located throughout Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska whenever possible.
