The I4E Startup Spotlight is our end-of-semester celebration of student innovation. This event brings together Colorado State students from every major, campus partners, mentors, and Northern Colorado community members for an evening of networking, food, and fast-paced two-minute student pitches. 

2026 I4E Startup Spotlight Details

  • When: Thursday, December 10, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Where: Visit Fort Collins Welcome Center

Applications will open in September 2026

Innovation Celebration

  • Hear from and support CSU student entrepreneurs 
  • Connect with founders, mentors, and the Northern Colorado entrepreneurial community 
  • Enjoy great food and an energizing atmosphere 
  • Celebrate the incredible momentum and impact of I4E programs 

 

Pitch Competition

Students have just two minutes to share their idea and convince the audience it’s worth pursuing. Our audience will vote to decide the winners, with the following cash prizes:

  • $1,500 for First Place
  • $750 for Second Place
  • $250 for Third Place

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should: 

  • Be current Colorado State University students  
  • Have a venture, startup, or business idea  
  • Be available to attend the event  
  • Be prepared to deliver a two-minute pitch (no polished presentation or slide deck needed)
