We welcome CSU students of all backgrounds to enrich their experience through direct service to a community business. Most projects are best suited to the abilities of upperclassman Information Systems students or CIS graduate students, but we encourage any student motivated to solve real business challenges to join us.

Dr. Aaron Baird, Director
Dr. Aaron Baird is a Dean’s Distinguished Research Fellow specializing in health IT/analytics, digital health, and the application of AI to business contexts. He won the Early Career and Mid-Career Awards from the Association for Information Systems and has published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Health Services Research. He teaches courses on how to use data, analytics, and AI to solve business problems.
Leo R. Vijayasarathy, Steering Committee Chair
Dr. Leo Vijayasarathy is a professor, Chair of the Computer Information Systems Department and Director of the MCIS program. He mentors students on software development projects and theses and has secured university grants supporting his teaching and research. He has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching, research and service. He co-advises the CIS Student Association and Tech Masters Connect.
