Eligibility and Requirements
We know you're more than a test score or a grade. The admissions committee takes a holistic approach when considering applications, which means we look at who you are as a person and what you would bring to our program and campus community. While we encourage our applicants to meet the minimum criteria, the inability to meet one may be offset by strengths in other areas. Generally, Online Master of Computer Information Systems applicants must meet or exceed the following criteria:
No GMAT or GRE is required to apply to the Online MCIS program.

The College of Business offers the following tuition benefits for students enrolled in one of its online graduate programs. Note: Tuition benefits are not cumulative and only one tuition benefit from this list can be applied.
Colorado residents
Colorado residents are eligible for a 5% tuition benefit.
Corporate partners
You may qualify for 10% off the cost of tuition. Reach out to our admissions team to learn if your company offers a corporate partner tuition benefit.
Active military and veterans
To honor our active military, honorably discharged veterans, military spouses and dependents, we offer a 15% tuition benefit.
Alumni of CSU's Fort Collins' Campus
Alumni of Colorado State University’s Fort Collin’s campus are eligible for a 15% tuition benefit.

How We Calculate Online Tuition and Fees
Residency status is not a factor in determining online, distance, or off-campus tuition rates.
Charges will vary, depending on the student’s actual registration and course of study. Additional University fees also may apply.
