Dr. Thomas J. Dean is a Research Fellow and professor of entrepreneurship and sustainable enterprise in the Impact MBA at CSU’s College of Business and School of Global Environmental Sustainability. He has consulted with companies and startups and is a pioneer in the field of sustainable and environmental entrepreneurship, authoring more than 60 manuscripts and the first-known course in environmental entrepreneurship. Recognized for his rigorous theoretical examination of environmental entrepreneurship, he published the first textbook on sustainable venturing in 2013. Thomas earned his B.S. in Environmental Management from Penn State University, MBA from Oklahoma State University and Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Colorado.
