Tim Gallagher received his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Illinois. Professor Gallagher served as Chair of Faculty Council at Colorado State University and was a member of the President’s Cabinet. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of financial management and investments. Professor Gallagher has written a book, Financial Management: Principles and Practice, Textbook Media Publishing Company. The book is in its sixth edition. The first three editions were published by Pearson/Prentice Hall Publishing Company. He has published his research in Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Financial Management, Financial Review, and Journal of Portfolio Management. Professor Gallagher served as Chair of the Department of Finance & Real Estate for ten years. He is a long-time member of Faculty Council and has served on the Committee on Responsibilities and Standing of Academic Faculty (CORSAF) including time as that Committee’s Chair. He has served as Faculty Representative to the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System and as Vice Chair of Faculty Council.
