Susan’s research focuses on sustainability and relationships in the global supply chain.  She has published this research in various supply chain management, marketing and business journals and has presented at many academic conferences and practitioner venues.  Susan has received five conference best paper awards and the 2010 Journal of Operations Management Best Paper Award in addition to the CSU College of Business Research Award in 2011.  She teaches supply chain management courses for undergraduate and graduate programs and has been nominated for the CSU Alumni Best Teacher Award.

Susan serves on three supply chain journal editorial boards and has held various committee positions with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.  She has several years of professional experience in logistics and environmental engineering and has consulted with numerous firms on supply chain management issues.  Susan is an avid runner and hiker, and she frequently volunteers for non-profit organizations.
