Arthur Valdez, Jr. has over 30 years of leadership experience in the retail supply chain and logistics industry. He has spent his career building retail supply chain networks in North, South and Central America, as well as across Europe and Asia. His prior roles include senior leadership positions at Target, Amazon and Walmart. Arthur recently retired from Target where he has transitioned to an advisory role through April 2023. Since 2016, he was executive vice president and chief supply chain and logistics officer where he oversaw all functions of Target’s global supply chain and logistics network, including inventory management, replenishment, fulfillment, global transportation, logistics and distribution.
Arthur serves on the Colorado State University Global Leadership Council, the board of directors for Shipt and Advance Auto Parts, Inc.
He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in production operations management. The son of Mexican-American and Cuban parents, Arthur was the first member of his family to attend college. Today, he devotes time mentoring other first-generation and minority college students.
