Bio
Pat Tracy graduated from Colorado State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a concentration in marketing. Upon completion of these studies, he joined Dot Associated Dairy Products Company, the predecessor of Dot Foods. In 1975, he completed his M.B.A. at the University of Illinois.
Tracy has spent the last 35 years with Dot Foods, Inc., a family owned organization. His experience has encompassed all areas of the business including transportation, warehouse, sales, marketing, and administration. He was named vice president of marketing in 1978, president in 1985, and chief executive officer in 1996 to 2006. He was elected chairman of the board in 2002, a position he still holds. He also served as president of Edotfoods, a Dot Foods subsidiary, from 1999 to 2007.
In 1990, along with other original stockholders, he founded Arctic Foods Distribution, Inc. He served as chairman until January 1, 1994, when that company merged with Dot Foods, Inc.
Tracy serves on “for profit” and “nonprofit boards” with organizations operating domestically and internationally, and is involved in numerous charitable pursuits.
