Bob Hottman is the chief executive officer of EKS&H. In this position he has seen the organization grow from 50 people to over 600 today. The result of the growth has made EKS&H the largest firm based in the Rocky Mountains and the largest firm in Colorado. Currently, EKS&H ranks as the 40th largest firm in the United States.
Hottman has been providing accounting and advisory services for individuals, closely held businesses and public companies in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate, hospitality, club and service industries since 1977. He has vast experience in helping clients develop strategic plans, improve operations, and plan for change and growth. He has also served as an expert witness in various litigation cases.
Hottman’s real passion is building an organization with a strong culture and hoping to achieve an employer of choice status. During his tenure at EKS&H the firm has been recognized locally as the best place to work three years in a row, and was inducted into the Denver Business Journal Hall of Fame. Additionally, for the past seven years, EKS&H has been recognized as a Top 25 Best Place to Work by Fortune and the Great Place to Work Institute.
Hottman is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been actively involved in the community by serving on numerous boards and committees through the years.
