About

Dr. Patrice M. Palmer is a learning and organizational change scholar and AI strategy leader specializing in leadership development, workforce readiness, and enterprise transformation. They serve as Assistant Dean of Corporate and Community Engagement and as Management Faculty in the College of Business.

As Assistant Dean of Corporate & Community Engagement, Dr. Palmer advances curriculum innovation by aligning academic programs with evolving organizational and workforce contexts. This work supports experiential learning, workforce-aligned education, and institutional partnerships that extend the land-grant mission beyond the classroom.

Dr. Palmer holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University. Their work integrates learning design, behavioral science, and organizational development, with a focus on student success and leadership capability. They lead the ROC MURALS Research Academy for first-year students and support the responsible integration of generative AI into teaching and learning, including the development of applied tools such as ROCSI and BizReady GPT.

In addition to their academic role, Dr. Palmer serves as a Partner and Chief Digital Learning Officer at BE Labs, Inc., where they lead higher education enterprise knowledge and provide specialized consulting to colleges and universities, including the use of agentic AI to support innovation within employee resource groups and employee networks.
