Kat Ernst is the Director of the Impact MBA at Colorado State University, where she oversees a growing portfolio of impact-focused programs, strategy, new program development, and external partnerships. She began working with the Impact MBA in 2014 and became Director in 2018, after serving as Managing Director and Research Associate at the Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Enterprise. Kat’s path into sustainable business began with two years in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic, working with an organic coffee cooperative, followed by her graduate studies in the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA (now Impact MBA), where she co-founded Organic Oasis, an aquaponics venture serving low-income families in Lima, Peru.
