Kipp Krukowski, PhD, ASA, CVA, is a Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at Colorado State University, bringing both academic perspective and real-world experiences to students. He has also founded several advisory firms focused on business acquisitions, business valuations and equipment appraisals and continues to be a trusted advisor. His business brokerage firm had multiple locations in the Midwest and successfully completed over 100 small business transactions, and his valuation firm that he founded, Equipment Appraisal Services (EquipmentAppraisal.com), completed over 1000 nationwide valuation assignments prior to being acquired in 2018.

Kipp has worked with numerous business acquirers, accountants, attorneys, lenders, government agencies, privately held and public businesses, and insurance companies to help them or their clients make more informed decisions related to valuation and Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA). He received the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Machinery and Technical Specialties (MTS), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designations and was recognized by Business Brokerage Press as an industry expert for selling manufacturing companies. He has also provided expert witness testimony in multi-million dollar litigation cases related to valuation.

Engagement contexts for business valuations and equipment appraisals have included: Mergers and Acquisitions, Purchase or Sale of Ownership Interest, Growth Planning and Value Creation, Business Succession and Exit Planning.

He completed his doctoral studies at Oklahoma State University, received his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University, and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. For the past 15+ years, he has served as a mentor for Carnegie Mellon entrepreneurs and judge for the McGinnis Venture Competition.
