Dr. Eric Lohwasser is an Associate Professor of Accounting in CSU's College of Business. His research is focused on the effects of accounting/auditing standards, corporate disclosure decisions, and organized labor, and his peer-reviewed studies have been published in Contemporary Accounting ResearchAuditing: A Journal of Practice & TheoryJournal of Business EthicsAccounting Horizons, and Journal of Accounting Auditing & Finance, amongst other outlets. He teaches Advanced Accounting in our undergraduate program and Forensic Accounting and Fraud Auditing in our graduate program. 

Before working in academia, Eric was a Manager at PwC in New York auditing high-profile, distressed, public companies involved in the global financial crisis. Additionally, he worked in Financial Reporting/Compliance in Private Equity and as a Hedge Fund Analyst. He attained his CPA license while in practice and holds a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance & Accounting and a Master's degree in Accountancy from Bentley University, and a Ph.D. in Accounting from Drexel University.
