David Stubing joined the Accounting Faculty in August 2016.  He earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Illinois State University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He previously taught at Washington State University in Vancouver, Portland State University, and Western Oregon University.  At CSU he teaches Introduction to Managerial Accounting, Introduction to Financial Accounting, and Fundamentals of Accounting.  In additional to teaching, Dave coordinates PWC’s and KPMG’s case competition at CSU and CSU’s activities with the Institute of Management Accountings.

Before his academic career, Dave worked in corporate accounting for twenty years.  Most recently as Controller and Director of Finance of small and mid-size companies in Portland, Oregon and Southwest Washington state.
