Sean Flynn is Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Real Estate at Colorado State University. He received his PhD in Finance from Arizona State University. Prior to graduate school, he worked at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC, in both research and bank supervision capacities.
His research interests include corporate finance, financial regulation, and financial history. His recent work focuses on credit ratings and the effects of rating agency competition, the mortgage-backed securities market, and firms' choice of debt structure. Some of Sean's work is forthcoming in Management Science. He currently teaches courses in fixed income.
