Jiayuan (Jay) Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Supply Chain Management at the department of management. He received his Ph.D. in supply chain management from the University of Rhode Island. Jay’s overall research interest lies in social media analytics and humanitarian supply chain management. He's a fan of multi-method design and enjoy working on projects applying different methods. He has published papers on operations and supply chain management journals, and information system journal, such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Logistics Management, and Behavior & Information Technology.
He is also enthusiastic in teaching. He has taught different courses, which include advanced supply management, operations and supply chain management, applied statistics, and Microcomputers for business. He has teaching experiences in both undergraduate and graduate levels. He also published teaching related research on Decision Sciences of Innovative Education.
