Hilary Klein is the Assistant Director of the Everitt Real Estate Center, where she works to cultivate and strengthen community engagement between the real estate program and its stakeholders including the College of Business students, alumni, research faculty, corporations, friends and real estate organizations.
Before her time at the College of Business, Hilary enjoyed a career in Chicago working in financial operations and administration where she received her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from DePaul University. As a Minnesota native, Hilary also served in the US Army Reserves.
Currently, Hilary is working towards her graduate degree as a student in the CSU Master of Business Administration program. Between work and studying, Hilary loves to spend time wrangling three teenage kids, grabbing a beer at a local brewery, hiking and seeing music with her husband. Despite being average at most hobbies, she did recently improve her cooking skills and took up mountain biking with her teenage son.
Hilary’s grandfather always said, “a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet”. With this as a lasting memory, Hilary’s favorite part of her current role are those moments when students, industry professionals and alumni share enthusiasm and passion about the finance and real estate industry.
