Gideon Markman studies competitive strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.  His research appears in top-tier journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Research Policy, and Academy of Management Perspectives.  And you can watch an explainer video of his recent Academy of Management Journal article here, and here is his Google Scholar page.

Gideon is an Associate Editor with the Academy of Management Perspectives and an editorial board member with several journals—Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal.  Gideon also brings enterprise-building and fund-raising capabilities:  He founded and funded the Sustainability, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship (SEE) Conference.  Gideon is an expert in business-model innovation and market entry and has consulted large enterprises such as Deutsche Telekom, Bosch Siemens, ChoicePoint, Mary Kay Cosmetics, as well as private and family firms, startups, social ventures and non-profit organizations (Altarum Institute).  Gideon lives in Boulder, CO with his wife and two sons.
