Dr. Brian Burgess is a researcher and educator specializing in leadership and teams, with a focus on leadership, power asymmetry, and social responsibility. His work explores how leaders effectively navigate multi-stakeholder environments, addressing critical topics such as leadership transitions, social responsibility, social support, and performance management. Dr. Burgess has led significant research initiatives, including a $200,000 NSF-funded longitudinal study on workforce resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic and a $2 million ARI-funded project on multi-team systems.
