Nandini Nim (She/Her) is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Colorado State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Georgia State University (2021). Currently, she teaches International Marketing to undergraduate students.
Nandini employs econometric and machine learning methods to explore various substantive marketing topics. Her current research focuses on digital financial inclusion, technology-embedded customer experiences, platform business models, and marketing strategies for startup firms. Her co-authored work has been published in leading business journals, including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Business Studies, International Journal of Research in Marketing, and International Marketing Review.
She is a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of International Marketing and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for journals such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Retailing, and the Journal of Business Research. Nandini has also contributed as a track chair at international conferences, including the American Marketing Association Global Special Interest Group Conference in 2023 and the Academy of International Business Conference in 2022.
Nandini is a founding member of the Women in Marketing Strategy (WiMS) group, an initiative dedicated to providing a platform, voice, and resources for women researchers in the field of marketing. The group aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for women scholars by facilitating networking opportunities, sharing research insights, and offering mentorship programs to advance the careers of women in marketing academia.
Previously, Nandini was a tenure-track faculty member at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she also served as a fellow of the Charles R. and Dorothy S. Carter Chair in Business Administration. At UTEP, she taught Marketing Metrics and Principles of Marketing to undergraduates and Marketing Management to MBAs. In 2021, she received the Young Scholar Award from the Organizational Frontlines Research Group and the Clyde Kitchens/Thoben Elrod/Delta Sigma Pi Doctoral Scholarship from Georgia State University for dissertation work on customer experience.
