Bharad is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the College of Business, Colorado State University.
He received a PhD in Finance in 2016 from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also has a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Christ University and Delhi University.
Bharad's research primarily focuses on the intersection between human capital and corporate policy decisions. In particular, his work relates to corporate finance implications related to layoff announcements, minimum wage shocks, cyber security breaches, and disclosure requirements.
