About

Andrew (Andy) Meyer served in the US Navy before he earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Iowa.  Upon completing graduate school, he began working for the Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen in Chicago and later in San Francisco.  For the past 30 years, he has helped manage businesses in computer manufacturing, software distribution, plastics manufacturing and specialty manufacturing.  For the past few years he has worked as an Associate Director for a private venture capital company specializing in early stage/seed investments in technology companies.  He has also taught several undergraduate and MBA courses as an adjunct at four different universities.

He has served on several charity boards including The Hawkeye Area Boy Scouts, the Cedar Rapids YMCA, First Lutheran Church and several others.  Andy is a two-time Paul Harris Fellow and is a member of the Boulder Rotary Club.

He has a son working for an aerospace firm in Denver, Colorado and a daughter who has just started practicing law in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In his spare time, you will find Andy riding his bicycle, exercising at the Rec Center, backpacking, canoeing and generally enjoying time outside.  He also sings (rather poorly) in a couple of local vocal ensembles.
