About

Xing’s research focuses on leadership and morality in the workplace. Her work examines how leaders’ behaviors—including help-seeking, abusive supervision, humility, and expressions of gratitude—influence employees’ perceptions, well-being, behavior, and performance. She also studies how employees interpret and respond to moral and immoral behavior at work, with particular attention to the complex and sometimes contradictory consequences of these experiences. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Research Policy, and Asia Pacific Journal of Management.

Xing received her PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the University of Illinois Chicago. She serves on the editorial board of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and reviews for several academic journals and conferences. She teaches courses in management and organizational behavior.
