I was born and raised in a Detroit suburb and got my BSBA in Marketing with a Finance minor from Michigan Tech in 1981 and my MBA-Finance from Western Michigan University in 1986. I worked at General Motors for 25 years, starting as a Production Scheduler of a product line, while finishing as the head of Transmission Purchasing. In 2006, I left automotive and joined Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, Az as a Supply Chain Director and Sr. Director for 5 years. In 2011, I was recruited to join Woodward, Inc. as a Supply Chain Director. During my 14 years with Woodward, I progressed to the role of VP/GM of their Combustion Business and then VP of Supply Chain for the largest aerospace division. When I retired from Woodward in February 2025, I was leading our Indirect Materials & Services supply chain team. I joined CSU as an Adjunct Instructor in 2025, although I have been a liaison and volunteer with CSU since 2011.

My wife, Dianne, and I married in 1995 and have three kids – Joey (III) 30, Andrea 28 and Ali 25 yrs old. We lived in Fort Collins from 2011-2014 and returned back to Colorado (Timnath) in 2021.
