Nick Daugherty joined the Colorado State University faculty in August 2024 after eight years of experience in the accounting and financial services industries. He began his career at KPMG, where he earned his CPA license while performing audits of financial statements and internal controls for healthcare and life sciences companies. He later transitioned into financial planning working as an advisor for dentists and small business owners, and obtained his CFP® certification. He primarily teaches undergraduate accounting courses and brings a student-centered approach to the classroom.
