Dr. Mallette is an associate professor in the Management Department. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska (Lincoln) in the Strategic Management interdepartmental area of Business. Since joining CSU his primary teaching has been in the capstone Strategic Management courses. Dr. Mallette's research has centered on issues related to corporate governance, including antecedents and consequences of board structure/ownership and mergers and acquisitions. Recent work explores theories and issues related to strategic inertia. Dr. Mallette is currently the Academic Director of Undergraduate Programs in the College of Business and the Director of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative. He also chairs the Undergraduate Programs Committee and the University Discipline Panel.
