The GSSE MBA promotes entrepreneurship in developing economies while focusing on positive social, human, and environmental outcomes.
The learning goals or outcomes for the GSSE MBA program include:
- To analyze the sources and complexity of global economic, environmental, health and social challenges and identify opportunities for sustainable, scalable, business-based approaches to address these challenges;
- To use accounting, finance, marketing, project management, information systems, law, ethics, human resource management, supply chain management and other analytical and strategic tools for effective business decision-making;
- To understand and apply the key components of effective management skills across different cultural, political, economic and legal environments;
- To create, plan, launch and operate sustainable enterprises in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, and understand the key roles that innovation, technology, networks, and partnership development play in entrepreneurial venues.
- To create an environment that produces a high level of satisfaction among stakeholders including students, faculty, administration, alumni, and employers.
These goals are tested throughout the program.
