The College of Business at Colorado State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Accounting. All ranks will be considered; candidates presently at Associate rank or above must be exceptional.
Employment Beginning: August 2012.
Job Qualifications Required – The requirements for this position are: a) Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree in Accounting (by the position’s start date); b) research publication record or potential thereof commensurate with experience; c) evidence of teaching effectiveness commensurate with experience.
Preferred – Preference will be given to candidates with: a) experience and/or interest in teaching auditing and financial accounting; b) potential for high quality scholarship, as evidenced by a portfolio of research activities including publications in premier and/or high quality journals or potential to publish in those journals; c) prior work experience in auditing; d) professional certification; e) prior university experience at the Assistant Professor rank.
Salary will be competitive, based upon credentials and experience.
