What does this have to do with me?
The BDLA is one of your best resources as a College of Business student for making connections and developing “diversity” smarts. Through BDLA, you’ll meet other students with the same major, background, and interests as well as those with different backgrounds and interests who will create a richer undergraduate life for you. BDLA gives you a view of the College from the students’ perspective and helps you develop relationships that will last long past commencement day.

How does BDLA develop its members as leaders?
BDLA members take a class (Social Justice and Leadership) to receive training in multicultural education and group facilitation. You’ll have opportunities to develop your leadership skills in the College of Business by participating in BDLA activities including leading diversity workshops for student organizations, faculty and staff; mentoring incoming freshmen; hosting College of Business programs and services; and more.
