Our Mission:
The Business Diversity and Leadership Alliance (BDLA) is the student constituent of the Undergraduate Programs office - assisting with the implementation of recruitment and retention initiatives as they relate to diversity appreciation and education. As volunteers, BDLA members provide assistance and support to the Undergraduate Programs offices and serve as diversity-oriented leaders in the College of Business. The activities of BDLA primarily involve programs targeted to prospective students and current enrolled students. The objective of BDLA is to attract and retain high-caliber and diverse students in the College of Business, and to create a sense of community within Rockwell Hall, the home of the College of Business.
Membership Requirements:
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Attend the Fall Retreat: August 25-26, 2012
- Enroll in the Social Justice and Leadership Course in Fall 2012: BUS496, 3 credits, MW 3-4:15pm
- Attend weekly meetings: Thursdays 6-7pm
- Be committed to diversity enhancement and appreciation
- Commit time to volunteer for BDLA sponsored events throughout the school year

Recruitment Week Schedule
April 2nd: Information Breakfast in the Rockwell West Lobby 7:30-10:00. Come by meet some members and enjoy a great start to your morning.
April 4th: Scavenger Hunt 4:00-5:00. Meet in Rockwell East South lobby.
April 5th: Fishbowl meeting and alumni panel. Come to one of our meetings to see what we are all about! Also get some information from students who have graduated. Rockwell 119 6:00-7:00.
April 6th: Ice cream social 2:00-4:00, Rockwell North (3rd Rock) living room.
